PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Let your imagination run wild – the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show is now open at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center!

This year is the 42nd and once again, it’s the place to be if you are looking for anything for your home, your garden, or your family up to and including the kitchen sink.

“If you’re looking for it, we have it,” said Mark Moore, the Home & Garden Show Executive Director.

From wall-to-wall and on two floors, the show is back and better than ever.

“There are over 500 exhibitors and there are over 1,500 displayed,” Moore explained.

Those displays cover everything – including outdoor lawn and garden equipment to more recreational relaxation items like a massive jacuzzi and massage chairs.

“We just came down to see what’s going on,” said Vince Ferri of Turtle Creek. “It’s like an annual event for us, we’re the first ones in line every year.”

Chris DiGulio and her husband got the house – but it’s lacking something in the backyard, enter the home and garden show.

“Well, we just bought a new house so we need a shed, this is the place to come to see already-built sheds,” she said.

There’s also fun for the kiddos, they can check out the LEGO displayed as well as model railroads and yes, there are even a few dogs running around!

The show is the largest of its kind in all of the United States, there is something for everyone.

Tickets for adults are $12.00 at the door and $11.00 online. Children aged 6-12 are $4.00 and children under 6 are free.
