WOOSTER − The 2024 Wayne County Home & Garden Show turns 33 years old later this month as the family-friendly event celebrates spring and helps plan summer projects in and around the house.

The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, at the Event Center and other buildings at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, as well as featuring some outdoor activities. Gates are open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Nora Detweiler, 8, decorates a bird feeder in the children's garden at last year's Wayne County Home & Garden Show. The show this year is April 27 and 28, and will include the popular children's garden.

Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce President Samira Zimmerly and event coordinator Sarah McFarland explained what visitors can expect at the show.

“We are continuing to try and make the event family friendly and fun for everyone,” Zimmerly said. “There will be a children’s garden with free activities for the kids, including crafts and games for the kids to take part in.
