LEADING THE WAY. DESPITE THE EARLY MORNING WINTER CHILL, THIS WEEKEND BROUGHT WITH IT A SIGN THAT SPRING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. WLWT NEWS FIVE’S RICHARD CHILES WAS DOWN AT THE DUKE ENERGY CONVENTION CENTER WITH THE SPRING HOME REPAIR LIST JUST IN TIME FOR THE GREAT CINCINNATI HOME AND GARDEN SHOW. CHRIS TRENT’S TROPICAL HAWAIIAN SHIRT IS A SURE SIGN THAT SPRINGTIME IS ON ITS WAY HERE AT THE DUKE ENERGY CONVENTION CENTER, WE TRY TO WARM EVERYBODY UP A LITTLE BIT, HAVE A LITTLE FUN. LIKE MANY WALKING THE SHOW, ARE ENJOYING THAT FACE TIME. THEY’VE GOT A LOT OF GREAT VENDORS OUT HERE TODAY. UM, WE’VE BEEN LOOKING AT HOT TUBS AND MAYBE A SAUNA WITH AN EARLY SHOWER. THE O’DANIELS SAY THEY AREN’T REALLY LOOKING FOR ANYTHING SPECIFIC, BUT KNOW THE SPRINGTIME HONEY DO LIST IS GROWING. REALLY? NOT MUCH IN THE WAY OF IDEAS. JUST TRYING TO JUST WALK AROUND, LOOK TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. LOOK AT THE DISPLAYS, GOING TO GO THROUGH THE GARDENS AND SEE IF ANYTHING CATCHES OUR EYE FROM EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO CHANGE AN INSIDE OF YOUR HOME. GETTING THAT PERFECT MAN CAVE TO DESIGNING THE OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE OF YOUR DREAMS, INCLUDING THIS PART OF THE GREAT HARDSCAPE AND CONCRETE EVERYTHING THE POOLS, EVEN GETTING A MACHINE OUT TO CUT YOUR GRASS FOR YOU. Chris Trent of Premier Pools Pools tropical Hawaiian shirt is a sure sign that spring time is on its way back at the Duke Energy Convention Center…“We try to warm everybody up and little bit… have a little fun.” Trent says getting customers excited for that first dip in the backyard pool.Trent says he’s been connecting with customers for 4 years at the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show. “Most people don’t know where to start, coming here you can get face-to-face time”Jennifer and Tony O’Daniel, like many walking the show, say they are enjoying that face time. “They’ve got a lot of great vendors here today. We’ve been looking at hot tubs.. maybe a sauna.. not really sure.” , Mrs. O’Daniel says.
