For a sultry twist, choose dramatic deep tones for your walls and beyond. “Dark paint colours give a feeling of warmth, enclosure and comfort,” says designer Michaela Burns of Michaela Burns Interiors. “This living room is designed for intimate gatherings, a place to focus on a book, a conversation or a movie.” The blue-grey paint colour on the walls is Benjamin Moore’s Templeton Grey and the brand’s Knoxville Gray coats the mantel.
